You also have the ability to request a shipping quote for other ports that are currently not listed. If you require a price for shipping to an unlisted port please send an email request for a shipping quote and we will endeavour to provide this price within 24 hours. Alternatively, you can simply select ‘Other’ in the shipping option and we can arrange the quote at the conclusion of the auction.

Shipping Schedule

All goods will be shipped from Rio between September and November, unless otherwise stated in the bid, and only once full payment has been received for the total Purchase Price of the Inventory Stock and shipment. Containers with your purchased Inventory Stock will be shipped to your destination port. Once your containers have been loaded on to the ship, RGS Events will release the Bills of Lading to you and you will take ownership of the containers. You will then be free to arrange collection and onward delivery of the containers upon arrival at your port of choice. All inbound customs, duties, taxes, port charges, loading, and other costs will be your responsibility.  You will be responsible for the collection of the containers from the destination port and the transportation to your final destination. You will also be responsible for any demurrage and detention charges that could arise at the destination port.

You may arrange with our shipping partner for onward transport to your final destination. If you do so, the cost and responsibility of the transport beyond the destination port and any agreement between our shipping partner and you is your responsibility.

CFR (Cost & Freight) Incoterm Explained

The seller pays for the carriage of the goods up to the named port of destination. Risk transfers to buyer when the goods have been loaded on board the ship in the country of Export. The Shipper is responsible for origin costs including export clearance and freight costs for carriage to named port. The shipper is not responsible for delivery to the final destination from the port (generally the buyer's facilities), nor any local customs, duties, taxes, port charges in the destination port or any other expenses incurred in the country/port of delivery or for buying insurance.
